Lake Charles Charter Academy Football Team is 1-0

Game 1 of the Lake Charles Charter Academy football team was a huge success. The stands at Westlake High were full and the people were enthusiastic! The jr. varsity team won their game a whopping 14-0, which set a spark in our varsity team to beat the S.P Arnett Rams who were undefeated, 20-18.

We cannot leave out the names of some of the players who had shining moments! Ayden Carter (5), ran five touch downs for about 200 yards, leaving his opponents in the dust. Kai Fontenot (27) had excellent defense performance that helped the team take control of the plays. We can’t leave off the incredible interception by Braedon (2) that sealed the game! Not to leave out the great plays from our offensive and defensive line.

Last but certainly not least, we must give a huge shout out to our very own, Coach Coleman. He is a positive role model for these kids on and off the field! Congratulations on the win, Coach!
