History of Halloween!

Each year on October 31st, people come together and knock at people’s doors and yell “Trick-or-Treat!”.
What is Halloween?
Halloween is a holiday for children and adults where they dress up in costumes and go after dark and collect candy. This all started in the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, a pagan religious celebration to Welcome the harvest at the end of summer when people would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off ghosts. Halloween has a theme that could be Horror, Slashes, Thriller, etc. The traditional colors are black and order, but it could be any color you prefer.
Costumes
If you were to go Trick-Or-Treating, you’d see a lot of people dressed in things like a pirate, witches, or cowboys, but there are many more categories when you are looking to wear a costume, there are themes as well. During this time this gives someone the opportunity to make their own costumes that are either brought, or made by themselves, some people enjoy reacting or “cosplaying” as a movie character that is from a horror film, or action. This year, 2022-2023 there are people thinking to dress as nonfictional characters from the show called, “Teen-Titans”. The main character that is a people are going to be dressed as is “Raven”.
Things that are mostly done on Halloween
There are 3 traditions that people do on Halloween, or before which are, carving pumpkins, trick-or-treating, and wearing scary costumes. But if you wouldn’t want to do those things there are other ways to celebrate Halloween which are, decorating Halloween-themed cookies and cupcakes, hosting a game night, or whatever you’d prefer.
