Every year we hear a new year’s resolution being said and some people say “New year, new me” but have you ever wonder why people say it every year. I think people make  new year resolutions to start off the new year with a clean background and how people view them. New years resolutions can be good but not all people follow their new year’s resolution.

I looked into why people say New years resolutions and the information I found said that it people from ancient Babylon begun new years resolution more then 4,000 years ago. The new years resolution they said were to appease their gods, the woman said, “Many people across the world New Year’s resolutions, or promises to themselves to achieve certain goals in the coming year.” New Year’s resolutions are goals that people set with going into a new year for luck and positive vibes. You want a good new years resolution so you can have a good new year, without any worries or problems.
