At this age the idea that we are about to be on our own can be scary, and when it does happen, many of us will face a very familiar foe: finances. Therefore, it’s good to have an efficient plan and a backup plan for that. Luckily here at L.C.C.A we have a class dedicated to helping you find your dream job and the skills you need to pursue said career. In this classroom students are put into groups and tasked with creating websites and writing articles on Co-team in Canva, PowerPoint, Word, and research LA companies which shows young people how to adapt to working online and owning an online business. This class is called Quest for Success, taught by our inspiring and intelligent teacher Ms. Truitt. Speaking of Ms. Truitt, when asked how she feels about teaching this class, she said, “I love it, it’s a great class, it involves a lot of teamwork, the kids learn, how to work on their own, and together at a smooth rate. We also asked a student what they think about the class and she said “It’s a high school credit I like the teacher and it’s a class prepares you for the future.’’ My opinion about the class is that its such a good way to help students who don’t know what they want to do in the future and to show kids who know what they want to do what is needed to succeed with that career.
